About Apparel Production Lab
I’m Kevin Park. I bring more than 30 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, global sourcing, and supply chain management.

PRACTICAL APPAREL MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE
For more than 30 years, I have worked across the apparel manufacturing and global sourcing industry, gaining hands-on experience in product development, fabric and material sourcing, garment manufacturing, quality control, costing, production management, and supply chain operations.
My experience has taken me through the practical realities of working with suppliers, factories, production teams, and international sourcing partners. I have seen firsthand the challenges that can arise between product development and final production—and the importance of making the right decisions at each stage.
Apparel Production Lab was created to share that practical, real-world knowledge with brands, entrepreneurs, sourcing professionals, and manufacturing teams.
WHY APPAREL PRODUCTION LAB
The apparel industry is complex, and successful production requires more than finding a supplier or placing an order. Product decisions, materials, costing, quality, production capabilities, communication, and supply chain management all have to work together.
I created Apparel Production Lab to make practical apparel manufacturing knowledge easier to understand and apply. My goal is to help businesses ask better questions, evaluate suppliers and factories more effectively, identify potential production issues, and make informed decisions throughout the manufacturing process.
This platform combines real-world industry experience with practical knowledge that can be applied to everyday apparel production and sourcing challenges.

FROM THE FACTORY FLOOR TO THE SUPPLY CHAIN
My career in apparel has given me the opportunity to work with many different parts of the production process—from product development and materials to factories, quality, costing, sourcing, and delivery.
What I have learned is that successful apparel production depends on understanding how all of these pieces connect. A decision made during product development can affect material cost, factory capability, quality, production efficiency, and ultimately the final delivery.
That practical understanding is at the heart of Apparel Production Lab.
